INFO FOR CURRENT ALLSTARS! Iowa Elite Schedule: Below are the dates for competitions/Parades/Performances we plan to attend this season. Any dates that could change will be noted as such. Plan on competitions being all day long - as they tend to go longer than usually planned. Some Competitions will be for traveling teams only - those teams are the senior all girl, senior coed, and the traveling youth. We're very excited about the upcoming season and we can't wait to get started! GYM CLOSED on the following Days: Nothing scheduled yet. Competition Dates: 1. Sunday, August 23 (I.E. Cheer Gym) Competition Kick-Off - Parent Performance Night! This is, of course, weather permitting. Please check the website on the day of should there be any question.) ****NEW*****COMPETITION KICK OFF SCHEDULE!!! We will be having practices for ALL teams on the 23rd, at the following times: 1:00-2:00 - Tiny Team 1:30-2:30 - Youth Team 2:00-3:00 - Minis Team 2:30-3:30 - Youth Traveling Team 3:00-4:00 - Senior All Girl Team 3:30-4:30 - Senior Coed Team 4:30-5:00 - Adult Team Following our practices we ask that everyone return to the gym for the Parent Performance at 5pm. Please wear parade outfit (black I.E. shorts and "Booty" Tshirt) with your competition bow. (Minis and Tinys will get these at the gym - coaches will hold them between comps) From 5:00-6:00 we will have social time for parents to get to know one another, while teams stretch and warm up. Each team will get a "run through" to warm up and parents are welcome to watch or socialize. At 6:00 we will begin the Parent Performance in which all teams will debut their routines for the year. This is a great warm-up for Westdale and being in front of a crowd, so please come watch! Remember that we'll have a lot of people in the gym at once and only one bathroom... so please don't plan on changing at the gym. Come ready to go, and having used the restroom before! :) Each team will be given a handout with this info, as well as information on how to do their hair and makeup for competitions.
